![]() Music and sound design are okay, nothing very memorable but nothing stands out as actually bad either. The combat, as said, has good spritework though. It's not a gamebreaker but it doesn't look great. The spritework in combat is quite good, but everything else looks like generic RPGMaker assets which contrary to my earlier comment does detract from the overall quality and makes the game feel a bit cheap. My only real gameplay-related issue is that the UI/UX design isn't great, but luckily it doesn't get too annoying. It has nothing too original, but it's got solid map design, a decent amount of unit/squad customization, and a pretty good sense of balance. It's got some recognizable influences from Fire Emblem, Ogre Battle and Soul Nomad, and meshes together those elements in a way that works well. Let's start with the most important bit: The gameplay is good. I've been playing this for a few hours now.
